The United States and Iran are close to reaching a temporary agreement on nuclear enrichment and oil exports, Middle East Eye reported Thursday, citing two sources with direct knowledge of the talks. According to sources, Tehran has agreed to halt its uranium enrichment activities at 60% and above and will continue to cooperate with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) for monitoring and verification of its nuclear program. Moreover, the deal allows Iran to export up to a million barrels of oil daily and access its frozen funds abroad.
