Iran praises Israel-Hezbollah truce, calls for Gaza peace

He also emphasized Tehran’s continued call for a ceasefire in Gaza amid the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict but acknowledged a shift from earlier demands for simultaneous ceasefires in Gaza and Lebanon. The foreign minister concluded by calling on the International Criminal Court (ICC) to prosecute Israeli leaders, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The ICC previously issued arrest warrants for Netanyahu, as well as former Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, accusing them of war crimes and crimes against humanity in the Gaza Strip.
