Trump: OPEC cutting prices will stop tragedy in Ukraine

United States President Donald Trump shared on Friday that The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) slashing the prices of oil would end the “terrible tragedy” happening in the Ukraine war. “A tremendous number of Russian soldiers are dead,” Trump stated during his visit to North Carolina, reiterating his previous call for Russia to end the conflict. The leader also addressed the devastating fires in California, announcing changes in the state’s water policy and criticizing the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA) response. He further noted that states will have to “take care of disasters” and promised additional funds to help the victims of Hurricane Helene in North Carolina.
