Speaking at a forum in Tehran, Araghchi stressed that Iran will not give up its nuclear program, even if a conflict “is imposed on us” as it is its right. “Iran has paid a very heavy price for its peaceful nuclear program and for uranium enrichment,” he noted. Araghchi’s comments came after another round of negotiations with the US on Iran’s nuclear status. Afterward, he said that Tehran is ready for peace, but also for a conflict with the US.
