May.07 — Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis President Neel Kashkari discusses the April U.S. payrolls report, criticism from Wall Street over the Fed’s aggressive support of the U.S. economy, and inflation expectations. The latest Nonfarm Payrolls report, which showed that the US added only 266,000 jobs in April, validates the Federal Reserve’s outcome-based approach to policy, Minneapolis Federal Reserve President Neel Kashkari said “I’m confident pricing pressures will be transitory,” Kashkari further added.
