Equities on Wall Street traded higher in the premarket session on Tuesday, as fears of possible further shutdowns and negative impacts on the economy due to the Omicron coronavirus variant alleviated. The Dow Jones jumped 0.87% or 306 points at 4:21 am ET, while the Nasdaq 100 traded 1.73% higher at the same time. The S&P 500 increased 1.16% a minute later.
