Netanyahu: We haven’t finished job in Iran

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared on Monday that Israel has not “finished the work” in Iran. Speaking at the Memorial Day ceremony in Jerusalem, Netanyahu claimed that the world recognizes Israel’s commitment to self-defense and its determination “to defend mankind against barbarous zealotry.” Furthermore, the Israeli prime minister stressed that his country and the United States “are carrying the entire Western civilization on their backs.” Previously, Netanyahu underlined that Israel is “ready for war with Iran at any moment,” after US President Donald Trump decided to suspend the American-Israeli bombing of Iran for two weeks.

Trump says US seized Iranian cargo ship

  • US marines board Iranian ship after hours-long standoff
  • Iran says will respond to ‘armed piracy’
  • Tehran rejects peace talks, state media says
WASHINGTON/CAIRO, April 20 (Reuters) – Concerns grew on Monday that the ceasefire between the United States and Iran might not hold after the U.S. said it had seized an Iranian cargo ship that tried to ‌run its blockade and Iran vowed to retaliate.
Efforts to build a more lasting peace in the region likewise appeared to be on shaky ground, as Iran said it would not participate in a second round of negotiations that the U.S. had hoped to kick off before the ceasefire expires on Tuesday. The U.S. has maintained a blockade of Iranian ports, while Iran has lifted and then reimposed its own blockade on marine traffic passing through the Strait of Hormuz, which typically handles roughly one-fifth of the world’s oil supply. The U.S. military said it fired on an Iranian-flagged cargo ship headed towards Iran’s Bandar Abbas port on Sunday after a six-hour standoff, disabling its engines. U.S. marines then rappelled from helicopters onto the vessel, U.S. Central Command said.
“We have full custody of their ship, and are seeing what’s on board!” President Trump wrote on social media. Iran’s military said the ship had been traveling from China. “We warn that the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran will soon respond and retaliate against this armed piracy by the U.S. military,” a military spokesperson said, according to state media.Iranian state media reported that Tehran had rejected new peace talks, citing the ongoing blockade, threatening rhetoric, and Washington’s shifting positions and “excessive demands.”
“One cannot restrict Iran’s oil exports while expecting free security for others,” Iran’s First Vice President Mohammadreza Aref wrote on social media. “The choice is clear: either a free oil market for all, or the risk of significant costs for everyone.”

Trump: Iran made ‘serious violation’ of ceasefire

United States President Donald Trump said Iran committed a “serious violation” of the ceasefire but expressed confidence a peace deal can still be reached, ABC News chief Washington correspondent Jonathan Karl posted on X on Sunday. “It will happen. One way or another. The nice way or the hard way. It’s going to happen. You can quote me,” Trump said. The remarks come as Iran has once again closed the Strait of Hormuz. Pakistani security sources also said talks between Washington and Tehran are likely to take place next week, with preparations underway in Islamabad.

NN: We need to blow these assholes to their virgin heaven.

Trump: Iran can’t blackmail us…… Looks like blackmail to me!

United States President Donald Trump noted on Saturday that Iran “wanted to close up” the Strait of Hormuz again, but that “they can’t blackmail us.” He added that talks with Tehran are “going along very well” and that his administration should have “some information by the end of the day.” Trump repeated that Iran has “no navy, no air force, no leaders.” He said that the US military operation in Iran resulted in “enforced regime change,” which has allowed Washington to take a “tough stand” in negotiations.

Iran’s navy tells ships Strait of Hormuz shut again, two vessels report gunfire

ATHENS, April 18 (Reuters) – Merchant vessels attempting to cross the Strait of Hormuz on Saturday received radio messages from Iran’s navy telling them they were not allowed ‌to pass, while two ships reported being hit by gunfire, shipping sources said. Several commercial vessels tried to transit the strait after receiving a notice to mariners a day earlier saying passage would be allowed but restricted to lanes Iran deemed safe. On Saturday, at least two ships reported that Iranian boats fired shots, shipping and maritime security sources told Reuters. The incidents were reported in waters between the Qeshm and Larak islands. The vessels turned back without completing the crossing, the sources said. The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) agency said it had received a report of an incident 20 nautical miles northeast of Oman. The captain of a tanker said it had been approached by two Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps gunboats that fired on the vessel. ‌The tanker and its crew were safe. A container ship was also hit by gunfire, a maritime security source said. Some vessels reported that Iran’s navy had been broadcasting a VHF message saying the Strait of Hormuz was closed again.
“Attention all ships, regarding the failure of the U.S. government to fulfil its commitment in the negotiation, Iran declares the Strait of Hormuz completely closed again. No vessel of any type or nationality is allowed to pass through the Strait of Hormuz,” the radio message said. Hundreds of ships and about 20,000 seafarers remain stranded in the Gulf, waiting to pass through the key waterway, which handles about 20% of global oil and liquefied natural gas flows.

Iran closes Strait of Hormuz again over continued US blockade of ports, state media says | BBC News

Iran’s military has said it will close the Strait of Hormuz in response to the US maintaining its blockade, Iranian state media reports. Iran’s foreign minister said on Friday the Strait of Hormuz would “completely open” to commercial ships for the remainder of the ceasefire. Shortly after, Donald Trump said the strait was “completely open and ready for business” but that the US blockade of Iranian ports would continue until a peace deal is reached. The BBC’s chief international correspondent Lyse Doucet is reporting from Tehran on condition that none of her material is used on the BBC’s Persian Service. These restrictions apply to all international media organisations operating in Iran.

Iranian military says it closed Strait of Hormuz….. Open Now was less than 24 hours

The Iranian military announced on Saturday that the Strait of Hormuz has “returned to its previous state,” after the Iranian government agreed to open it yesterday. An Iranian Armed Forces headquarters spokesperson said that the decision was made in response to the United States’ continued blockade of Iranian vessels in the strait, accusing the Trump administration of “repeated breaches of promise that are part of their track record.” According to the Iranian Tasnim news agency, the spokesperson said that, “until the US puts an end to the complete freedom of movement” for vessels to and from Iran, the situation in the Strait of Hormuz “will remain under strict control and in its previous state.”

NN: Good thing they saved the cork on the Champagne.. See i got all these holes one where shit  comes out. But i got these 2 holes were bullshit comes in called my ears. I tend to ignore these holes.  I have learned to trust my eye holes. So when me bullshit entry holes told me the straights were opened  I did two things and with my eyeholes and  checked my live satellite feed on the movements in the straights. When my eyeholes confirmed what i  suspected was more bullshit in my earholes…. I bought  more oil! Did you let them make a idiot of you?

Iran reopens Hormuz to commercial vessels…. For Now

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi announced on Friday the reopening of the Hormuz Strait to commercial vessels following a ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon. “In line with the ceasefire in Lebanon, the passage for all commercial vessels through Strait of Hormuz is declared completely open for the remaining period of ceasefire, on the coordinated route as already announced by Ports and Maritime Organisation of the Islamic Rep. of Iran,” Araghchi said. Previously, Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the recent ceasefire agreement, while US President Donald Trump declared that the war in Iran should end pretty soon.

NN: Besides the fact gulf production has been cut in half due to war time damage. They forgot to  mention the US is still embargoing Iranian oil shipments. How long do you think Iran will let the good times roll?

IEA warns Europe has ‘6 weeks’ of jet fuel

International Energy Agency (IEA) Executive Director Fatih Birol said on Thursday, Europe has “maybe 6 weeks or so” of jet fuel left if supplies through the Strait of Hormuz remain blocked, warning that flight cancellations could come soon. “In the past, there was a group called ‘Dire Straits.’ It’s a dire strait now, and it is going to have major implications for the global economy. And the longer it goes, the worse it will be for the economic growth and inflation around the world,” Birol said in an interview with The Associated Press.  The comment also comes amid broader concern about real shortages in physical fuel supplies. If disruptions through the Strait of Hormuz continue, the impact could spread beyond aviation to transport, energy costs, and the broader economy.

NN: Typical EURO screw up. Run out as jet fuel as summer vacations season gets started.
