U.S. oil stockpiles roseĀ in the latest week, the Energy Information Administration said on Wednesday. Crude oil inventories rose 8.487 million barrels last week, compared with analysts’ expectations for a draw of 0.457 million barrels.
Distillate stockpiles, which include diesel and heating oil, fell by 0.913 million barrels in the week against expectations for a draw of 1.312 million barrels, the EIA data showed.
Gasoline inventories dropped by 3.607 million barrels last week, the EIA said, compared with expectations for a draw of 1.574 million barrels. NN: the crude oil inventory build is a nothing burger.
