The group’s leader Ismail Haniyeh was said to have phoned Qatari Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani and Egyptian General Intelligence Service (GIS) Director Abbas Kamel to pass on the decision. The report came after the allegations Hamas froze the negotiations, with the organization and Israel blaming each other for the lack of a deal.
Israel allegedly cautious about Hamas’s ceasefire move
