The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) stated that it expects its operations against Iran’s nuclear program, as well as its long-range missile capabilities, to last for several days, the Times of Israel reported. IDF officials stated that “at the end of the operation, there will be no nuclear threat” from Iran. The officials stated that the country was “in a window of strategic opportunities,” adding that they had reached “a point of no return,” stating that there was “no choice but to act now.” Additionally, the IDF stated it was coordinating with the US in the operation, contradicting earlier reports that the US would not aid Israel in any attack on Iran.
