The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said on Thursday that it carried out an airstrike targeting Hezbollah command centers and munitions warehouses in Syria, near the border with Lebanon. They did not the number of casualties. The IDF said the facilities were also used by Hezbollah’s special operations unit, the Radwan Force. The Israeli military also claimed its strike was part of a larger action aiming to destroy Hezbollah infrastructure supporting weapon transfer from Iran through Syria to Hezbollah in Lebanon.
