Kuwait says 63 people injured in Iranian attack

At least 63 people were injured in Iran’s drone and missile strikes on Kuwait, including airport workers and passengers, the country’s Health Ministry said on Wednesday. Health ministry spokesman Abdullah al-Sanad said 25 ambulances were dispatched at Kuwait International Airport, adding that “63 injured individuals were received and distributed among hospitals … They include severe and multiple injuries such as fractures, head injuries, cerebral hemorrhages, amputations, and injuries resulting from explosions, in addition to cases of smoke inhalation.” Kuwait’s foreign ministry said one person was killed in the Iranian attack at Terminal 4 of Kuwait International Airport. Tehran stressed that it only launched aerial attacks on Kuwait and Bahrain because they assisted the United States in targeting Iran.
