Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office confirmed that the Israeli and Hamas negotiating teams signed a hostage release and ceasefire agreement in Doha. Netanyahu has instructed his security cabinet to gather on Friday and vote on the deal, after which the government will convene to grant its approval. A special task force has been told to prepare to receive the hostages returning from Gaza and the families of the captives have been informed that a deal had been reached, according to the statement. “The State of Israel is committed to achieving all the goals of the war, including the return of all our hostages – both living and dead,” Netanyahu’s office said.
