Russian President Vladimir Putin underlined on Thursday that the time of “undivided domination” of the West is “coming to an end.” Addressing the Valdai Discussion Club, the head of Russia stressed that “the West is incapable of unilaterally governing… no matter how much it tries to do that.”
He further commented that Washington has “no ideas of creating positive development, they simply have nothing to offer the world except maintaining their dominance.” Putin underscored that he is “convinced that real democracy in a multipolar world primarily implies the possibility of any people.”
The Russian president concluded by warning that “we are facing the most dangerous decade since the end of World War II, [as] the situation is fraught with conflicts.”
