International Energy Agency (IEA) Executive Director Fatih Birol said on Tuesday that the renewed hostilities in the Middle East increase concerns regarding the security of oil supply and uncertainty about the market outlook. He noted that threats to close the Bab el-Mandeb Strait add to the issues already facing the Strait of Hormuz. Birol said the oil market still benefits from several mitigating factors, including “significant supplies” from Gulf states via alternative routes, increased exports from countries including the United States, Brazil, Venezuela and Kazakhstan, China’s reduced imports and the IEA’s ongoing emergency stock releases. However, he warned that commercial inventories continue to fall and that refinery activity and product supplies “have not picked up as much as crude deliveries.”
Iran: Ships using US route risk ‘accidents’….. US may escalate Iran military op soon
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy shared that four ships attempted to use intel provided by the US to stray from shipping routes designated by Tehran on Sunday. The vessels allegedly switched off their navigation systems and, ignoring warnings from the Iranian control base, intended to exit the Strait of Hormuz via an “unsafe route.” The military said that two of them then “faced an accident and were stopped in their tracks,” while the other two abandoned the route. “Vessels that are influenced by the words of the American enemy and enter the unsafe route will certainly face an accident,” the statement warned, repeating that “not a single drop of oil, gas, or chemical fertilizer” will pass through the strait without Tehran’s permission.
NN: Take their words seriously. Because supplies are drying up faster then a pan of water in the desert sun.
US may escalate Iran military op soon
The United States is preparing to escalate its military campaign against Iran in the coming days, according to an Israeli security source cited by i24NEWS.Operational plans are reportedly ready and awaiting US President Donald Trump’s decision on next steps. At the same time, the same report claims that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is holding a limited security discussion on developments in the conflict. While the US is keeping Israel out of active operations for now, the source claims that the two allies remain engaged in intelligence sharing and operational planning. Washington is facing mounting pressure following American soldiers’ deaths in the conflict, with more accusations of unreported injuries mounting.
US completes 8th night of Iran strikes…. Iran says it struck two US bases in Kuwait
The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) announced it carried out strikes on Iranian military sites for an eighth straight night. CENTCOM said US forces struck Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) units linked to attacks on US service members in Jordan on Friday. The targets included coastal surveillance systems, air defenses, naval capabilities and missile and drone storage facilities.
Iran says it struck two US bases in Kuwait
Iranian forces attacked two US military bases in Kuwait on Sunday, targeting ammunition depots and air-defense radar systems, Iran’s Mehr News Agency reported. The strikes were described as retaliation for recent US attacks on Iranian cities. Iran said American operations had hit Bandar Abbas, Sirik, Hajiabad, and Qeshm Island near the Strait of Hormuz.
Hegseth eulogizes US soldiers killed in Jordan
United States Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth declared that the “sacrifice” made by US troops who were killed in an Iranian strike in Jordan would only “stiffen” Washington’s resolve. “Godspeed, heroes,” Hegseth wrote shortly after US Central Command confirmed the fatalities, while declaring an additional soldier to be missing. Washington had previously denied any US casualties since the resumption of full-scale war with Iran.
NN: Sure glad we got the memo. I know we can send it to the families of the dead troops… Thankyou for your service AND here is a signed copy of the memo you can put on your mantel with the folded flag from the funeral.

Several US troops said to have been injured in Jordan….. Iran claims another hit on US airbase in Jordan…. IDF: US refueling jets to be stationed at airbases
Several US troops were injured in an Iranian strike on their facility in Jordan, multiple unnamed US officials told CBS News. The sources, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, did not offer further details, though they stated that no fatalities were recorded among US or Jordanian military personnel so far. Iranian forces repeatedly targeted US forces in Jordan, as hostilities with Washington appeared to escalate further.
NN: Don’t kid your self drones are kicking the shit out of US bases. The days of planes parked outside and troops living in quasit huts are over. Its cave dweller time bases built deep unground.
Iran claims another hit on US airbase in Jordan
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) confirmed in a statement on Saturday that it once again targeted the United States Al-Azraq airbase, situated in Jordan, with missiles and drones. The Iranian army insisted that the strike “completely” wrecked at least two US fighter aircraft, while also causing “significant” damage to several others. Addressing the Jordanian army directly, Iran’s military said that it has to “eliminate [the US presence in the country] by any means necessary and to cleanse the sacred land of Jordan of these killers of innocent Muslims.”
IDF: US refueling jets to be stationed at airbases
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed on Saturday that additional US military refueling aircraft will arrive in Israel and be stationed at air force bases rather than at Ben Gurion Airport, due to concerns about severe airport congestion. According to Israeli outlet Ynet News, more than 60 American refueling planes have arrived in Israel so far, including 33 that were parked at the country’s main international airport.
NN; Its not just refueling aircraft. All the US bases in the gulf are being evacuated and being moved to Israel where distance and Israel’s 3 layers missal and defensenice shields are better able to protect them. And yes Israel has underground Hangers. Something about defending ones self from 20 years of constant rocket and drone attacks makes you good at it.
The Iran War Is Driving The World Into Another Dark Age
The world feared the Iran war’s disruption of the Strait of Hormuz would trigger historically high oil prices. Yet the worst hasn’t happened yet, and the reasons for that may hint at a rewiring of global energy flows. That unexpected resilience of markets has many explanations, but it’s forcing a bigger question: does the world simply wait for the critical waterway to normalize, or start building alternative routes, inventories and supply systems to hedge against future risks which will take years.
Soon China oil reserves will run out. Then all hell will break loose. And when Iran with their surrogates the Hooties shut the red sea it will be oil crises squared, Then you will wish you had solar panels, electric cars and guns. And don’t forget a 2 year food supply. And i don’t meal that salt laced nitrate freeze dried crap the sell on the internet.

Trump Vows to Intensify Iran Attacks as Oil Climbs
The US launched attacks against Iran for a fifth day after Tehran hit Kuwait with the heaviest wave of strikes in weeks, leaving an interim peace deal in tatters. The European Union Aviation Safety Agency raised its threat level for airlines in the Middle East, cautioning carriers to avoid the region amid a heightened threat of missile and drone strikes. Oil rose for a third day, with Brent jumping near $85 a barrel and taking its gain this week to 13%.
Congested Routes
London flights to Asia and Australia now bypass multiple airspaces, causing congestion and longer routes
Washington and Tehran are vying over control of the Strait of Hormuz, with Iran attacking vessels it says are crossing the chokepoint without its permission. President Donald Trump has vowed to intensify the US military response after ending a waiver on Iranian oil sanctions and reimposing a naval blockade. So far, the US is mostly keeping to military targets in the south of the Islamic Republic such as radar, missile and drone sites. The bombing campaign remains far less intense than during the height of the war in March and early April, when Tehran and other major cities were under constant fire.

US-Iran Truce Collapses as Attacks Worsen, Blockade Restarts
- The US and Iran’s interim peace has collapsed after American forces reimposed a naval blockade and launched airstrikes, while Tehran attacked oil tankers sailing through the Strait of Hormuz.
- The US launched airstrikes at military sites in southern Iranian towns and cities, and Iran targeted US bases in Jordan and Bahrain, and hit two oil tankers from the United Arab Emirates with cruise missiles.
- US President Donald Trump proposed a 20% reimbursement fee on all cargo shipped through the Strait of Hormuz, which would account for costs of providing safety and security, but the plan’s implementation and legality are uncertain.
The interim peace between the US and Iran effectively collapsed after American forces reimposed a naval blockade and launched another wave of airstrikes, while Tehran attacked more oil tankers sailing through the Strait of Hormuz. US President Donald Trump’s decision to restart a blockade of Iranian ports overnight came after hostilities between the two sides worsened in the past week, with tensions centered on control of the strait.
Traffic through the all-important waterway has dwindled and oil has surged 20% since attacks rekindled, with Brent trading around $86 a barrel.
On Monday night, the US launched airstrikes at military sites in several southern Iranian towns and cities over a five-hour period. Iran targeted US bases in Jordan and Bahrain, and hit two oil tankers from the United Arab Emirates with cruise missiles. The latter attack killed an Indian crew member and wounded about eight others. Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said the tankers had ignored warnings and that the US had “incited” them to deviate from navigating channels approved by Tehran. The latest incident adds to a spate of shipping attacks by Iran, including on Saudi Arabian and Qatari tankers, since July 7. The US has reacted by firing upon hundreds of Iranian military targets, prompting counterstrikes by Tehran on American allies such as Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar and Oman. The “shaky peace established by the June deal has ended,” said Eurasia Group analysts including Gregory Brew and Firas Maksad. “Rapid de-escalation appears unlikely, given how both sides have committed to their positions, and an environment of heightened tensions and depressed Hormuz traffic is likely to endure through July.
Brent crude is up almost 20% since early last week
The escalation in fighting between the US and Iran stems in large part because their preliminary deal from last month — meant to set the stage for talks over Iran’s nuclear program and a permanent end to the war — was ambiguous about the Hormuz strait. Each side claims the other has breached the terms of the so-called memorandum of understanding. The US said the document allowed for free passage of ships through the waterway, while Iran claims it was given the right to manage traffic.
Trump, late on Tuesday, said the strait was “open” HAHAHAHAHAH but added to the chaos for energy companies and shippers by saying he would demand a reimbursement fee of 20% on all cargo shipped through. That would account “for any and all costs necessary to do the job of providing safety and security to this very volatile section of the World,” he said on Truth Social. The number of vessels transiting through the strait fell to the lowest level in a month on Sunday, according to Bloomberg ship-tracking data. Trump’s latest declaration and the increased US strikes underscore his precarious position just over three weeks after signing the MOU. That deal helped lower gasoline prices in the US, raising his Republican Party’s hopes ahead of midterm elections in November. “At least rhetorically, Trump appears to be trying to play the Iranians at their own game,” said Holly Dagres, a senior fellow at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy. “Rest assured, the Iranians won’t be giving up the strait that easily.”
