The United States Federal Reserve said on Monday it will begin buying corporate bonds in an effort to support market liquidity and credit availability for large employers. Under the updates to its Secondary Market Corporate Credit Facility (SMCCF), Fed said it will buy corporate bonds, as well as corporate bond portfolios in the form of exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and corporate bond portfolios that track a broad market index. The program envisions the purchase of the corporate credit worth up to $750 billion. Nick Note: I watched the Japinese do this for a decade or more. Europe started this bullshit years ago.
